Department of Child Care and Youth Services Child Development Program Purposes
1. Adopts the importance of child development and education.
2. Recognizes the developmental characteristics of children aged 0-18 and gains information about their habits and needs.
3. Supports the development and learning of children with typical and atypical development between the ages of 0-18.
4. Takes precautions against problems that children may encounter.
5. Recognizes children with special needs and organize the appropriate educational environment and education plan for these children.
6. Provides services to the child, family and society in this field with its education program that supports all skills and development areas of typically developing and special needs children, such as cognitive, affective and psychomotor.
